I recently was involved in a beautiful wedding in the sun soaked Okanagan Ingrid Tourigny performed an enchanting, meaningful, relaxed program. She tossed in a few giggles to help soothe the new couples nerves and verything ran smoothly and on time . The DJ setting up, commented that Ingrid was the first ever officiant he had seen show up early for a wedding to make sure all was in order. She did a fantastic job, is very personable and outgoing and you can see she wants to make sure everyone has a memorable day!

Weddings are about LOVE and commitment and are one of the most important Rites of Passage a person goes through in their lifetime. HOW DOES IT WORK?
The first thing to do is to meet to discuss lots of wonderful ideas for your ceremony and for Ingrid to get to know you both. Do not worry; she has her ways to get to the heart of who you are quickly! If you want something short and sweet, or super elaborate or crazy fun, she will work with you to make sure your day is just how you want it.
Her goal throughout the whole process is to have you enjoy your wedding ceremony from start to finish.

As both a marriage commissioner and a Life-Cycle Celebrants®, she is trained in the art of ritual and ceremony. She is skilled ceremony officiant and writer who performs and co-creates customized ceremonies. She takes care and time to create the ceremony that reflect the values, needs, and beliefs of the couple. As a Life-Cycle Celebrant® she abides by a strict code of ethics, and nondiscrimination policy which she takes very seriously in her work and also in her daily life. As a Celebrant Alumni Association Member she is committed to continually improving her knowledge and skill.
For over 30 years she has worked with people in the private sector. For the last 26 years she has worked one on one with people who are chronically ill and in chronic pain so under a great deal of stress. This experience has taught her: to be an excellent listener; about the importance of humour and joy; and to know how to quickly get to the heart of what really matters.
Creating a unique, memorable, meaningful ceremony takes someone who connects to you and gets who you are as individuals and as a couple. That is where Ingrid shines.
